Painted in the aftermath of the 2021 mass shooting in my hometown. These events have always deeply affected me, but having one so close to home where my family shops was world altering. There isn’t much I can do to help these situations, but I sure can paint to both move through my own emotions and honor the lives lost. Each bird represents a specific person lost that day. Half the listing price will be immediately donated to the victims relief fund.
