Eos, goddess of the dawn, is depicted in front of the rising sun. Her eternal love, Orion, was placed among the stars by Zeus. She is forever destined to chase him as she brings in the dawn.
 
Created in batik process with alternating layers and melted wax and dye. The wax is removed and the silk is stretched over a wood cradle.
